Our hearts are still heavy as we witness the devastating impact of the 2025 floods on our neighbors in Leslie and Clay Counties. Families have lost homes, livelihoods, and cherished belongings. But in the midst of this hardship, we have also seen an outpouring of love and generosity.
First, we want to say thank you—to those who have given, prayed, and stood by us in this time of crisis. Your kindness has already made a difference. Because of your support, Hills to Hollers Outreach Center, Inc. has received over $1,000 in donations to help those most in need. But now, we need your help once more—not to give, but to find the families who need this assistance the most.
If you or someone you know was affected by this disaster, we want to help. Hills to Hollers Outreach Center, Inc. is offering a Flood Assistance Grant of up to $250.00 per household to help with recovery expenses. This money can be used for property repairs, temporary housing, or replacing essential items lost in the flood. The process is simple, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastation caused by the recent flooding in our beloved communities. We are holding you in our prayers, especially those who have suffered the loss of their homes, belongings, and things precious to you.
We are here to help. We currently have clothing, household items, linens, and a limited supply of food available for those in need. If you or someone you know requires these essential items, please reach out to us using the contact information provided below.
However, we know that many needs extend beyond what we currently have on hand. To address this, we are launching an Emergency Flood Relief Fund through our website to help flood victims in Leslie and Clay Counties. In early 2022, our founders set out on a mission to place positive influence back into the communities of Leslie and Clay, Counties. It began as a yard sale for church fundraising but soon escalated into emergency assistance for the historic flooding in Eastern Kentucky in the summer of 2022. We received overwhelming donations from numerous community members, local organizations, and businesses. Soon, one enthusiastic individual within the group suggested we use our Church’s unused parsonage to begin a distribution center and develop a non-profit organization separate from the Church. This non-profit organization was to operate as an outreach center to serve the people of Leslie and Clay County, KY. Within a few short weeks and with help from friends and family, the Advisory Committee formed the Hills to Hollers Outreach Center, Inc. Hills to Hollers Inc. received formal non-profit 501(c)3 status in record time. Since then, the organization has proactively served the needs of communities across Clay and Leslie Counties, KY, with a group of individuals, including board members, officers, and volunteers, who are enthusiastic about helping serve the community and its people in any way possible.
We love to serve the needs of our communities, so feel free to drop in during normal business hours.
